Cecelia is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (O&G) who has over 15 years experience in diagnostic ultrasound. Cecelia has subspecialised in the area of Maternal and Fetal Medicine and has a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound in O&G. Cecelia has completed her PhD in the area of fetal growth patterns in the setting of maternal obesity. Cecelia is an Associate Professor at James Cook University and is a keen perinatal educator and researcher.
Cecelia grew up in a small country town in north west NSW and has always been passionate about rural and regional health. She understands the barriers and limitations to accessing high quality care in rural settings. Cecelia wants to bring the highest quality of specialist ultrasound services to the women of North Queensland.

Dr Rosh Samuel is a Paediatric and Fetal Cardiologist practising at Mater Private Hospital Townsville, dedicated to supporting children and their families facing suspected or diagnosed heart conditions.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University in 2010, followed by a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney and Westmead Children’s Hospital. He holds dual Fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Paediatric Cardiology and General Paediatrics.
Dr Samuel undertook specialist training at leading centres – including British Columbia Children’s Hospital (Vancouver) and the Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne) – before completing an advanced fellowship in fetal and neonatal cardiology at the University of Alberta under world renowned mentors.
He is the clinical lead of paediatric cardiology at Townsville University Hospital, after establishing the service in 2022. He also continues to work at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
With expertise in both paediatric cardiology and general paediatrics, Dr Samuel takes a holistic, family-centred approach to cardiovascular care, considering the broader context of each child’s health, development and wellbeing.
He is a passionate educator, teaching at James Cook University and mentoring junior doctors across Queensland.
Dr Samuel is well regarded for his clear communication, approachable manner, and compassionate care.
Our team of sonographers have a wealth of experience in gynaecological and fetal ultrasound in North Queensland.
Angelina is a sonographer and nurse extraordinaire. Born and bred in Townsville, Ange has an innate knowledge of North Queensland and crocodiles!
Ange loves adventure, travelling, hanging out with her family and friends, running and the great outdoors. She has recently completed the Tasmanian half marathon!
Angelina has been the lead sonographer for our Care on Country program to Palm Island and the North West, and has instilled in many registrars and GPs, the love for women’s ultrasound.

Andrea is one of the sonographers at Women’s Health Circle. She graduated as a clinical sonographer in Canada and began her career in a high-risk obstetric and gynaecology department, developing a passion for women’s imaging.
Andrea has worked across Brisbane, Mackay, Darwin, and now Townsville, gaining experience with diverse patient populations.
Outside of work, she’s a mum to two busy boys who love playing soccer.

Rebecca is the Practice Manager for the Women’s Health Circle.
Rebecca has been working in the medical field for over 25 years and is excited to join this incredible and dedicated team of amazing women.
Rebecca is passionate about providing the best possible care and support to women and their families throughout their journey in a compassionate, safe and professional environment.
In her spare time you’ll find Bec breaking in, training and caring for her horses.
