We will provide a range of unique ultrasound based services for women including:

  • Complex early pregnancy problems right through to advanced pregnancy screening
  • Fetal anatomy to surveillance for fetal growth and wellbeing
  • Complex gynaecological problems including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, polyps
  • Diagnosis of different uterine cavity shapes

Gynaecology Procedures

Transvaginal pelvic ultrasound

Specialised gynaecological ultrasound including axial, sagittal and coronal (3D imaging) of your uterus, tubes and ovaries.

Tubal patency testing or HysteroConstrast Salpingography (HyCoSy)

Procedure involving a specialised catheter inside the uterus to test the patency of the fallopian tubes

Ovarian follicle tracking

Assess the endometrial thickness and number, size and position of the ovary follicles after stimulation.

Sonohysterography

Passage of a specialised catheter and fluid inside the uterus to assess the cavity for polyps and fibroids.

Deep endometriosis

Specialised ultrasound assessing for deposits of endometriosis outside of the uterus in the abdominal cavity.

Fee Statement

The Medicare rebate for Obstetric and Gynaecology ultrasound has not changed over time and does not cover the cost of a high quality service with skilled sonographers, doctors and state of the art ultrasound technology and the servicing costs.

That is why there is a private cost for our service, and you will receive a portion of this back from medicare.
